Best transport from Sanford to BC?

Hi,

We have always driven to WDW in the past but will be flying for next trip. What is the best way to get from Sanford airport to WDW resorts?

Car service? Any companies to stay away from or to seek out?

I would probably rent a car! The drive to WDW is about 40 miles (?). Depending on your airline, you may get a great rate in conjunction with your flight.

Rent a car one-way from Alamo or National (it'll probably run you about $50, make sure to check Mousesavers for discount codes too) and drop it off at the Dolphin after you check in at BC (you can top off the gas tank at the Hess over by the Boardwalk). You can take SR-417 from Sanford to WDW. Tolls run about $6.

The Dolphin valet will issue you a receipt. Walk or take the boat back to the BC by going through the Dolphin lobby, out the exit toward the Swan.

You can pick up another rental at the Dolphin for the return trip. If you take a town car, you should expect to pay about double.
