arriving in early may. we are going to book a towncar and are trying to decide which is the best one. if anyone has used one recently we would appreciate your input. (used tiffany 2&3 years ago,and are leaning that way again.) thanks for your help!
happy st pats day!!

we have used FL Tours in the past and have been very happy with them. I also have had friends use Tiffany and they were happy. I have heard a few negative things about happy limo lately

Below are some companies with towncars, they have been around for many years, and are very reliable. I'm sure you can find their websites.

GNS
Trans Orlando
Starline
Showtime
Dove
Carey

We've used Sunray twice and they were great both times. They're the only car service I'll use for transportaiton to/from WDW.

2 time Tiffany user here. We just booked time #3. That says it all. I never go back to give my money to someone who doesn't provide good service.;)

Another vote for Tiffany -- we've used them 3 times, most recently this past December, and have been delighted every time.

I know people have complained about Happy Limo but we used them in Feb. to PC and they were great. Very punctual and free upgrade (huge Excursion limo w/4 tvs!) on the way there. :woohoo:
Then again, they picked us up at a hotel near the airport. Many complaints arise from their meet & greet service (or lack of) at the airport.

Also check with the company about fees for MK resorts or airport fees to pick up/drop off at MCO. Some companies are offering slightly cheaper fares in their fare list, then at the bottom of the page they list additional fees for those 2 items (and many more). I'm not sure if it's Happy or Tiffany that lists these fees separately, but I saw it on one of their sites last night.

We have used both Happy Limo and Tiffany Towncar and were pleased with both. If I were to book another trip, however, I would book with Happy Limo. We only used Happy Limo for our return trip from the Poly to the airport and were upgraded from a regular towncar to a stretch excursion. The driver was extremely friendly and efficient. My 10 year old daughter left her purse that contained the rest of her spending money and many small souveniers that she had purchased during our vacation in the limo and we didn't realize this until we had returned home. I called Happy Limo to find out that driver had turned in the purse and they mailed it back to my daughter complete with her money and souveniers.

Tiffany's service is good, except they don't hold signs with your name on them at the airport, making it difficult to find your driver.

Their office staff is known for being very surly, though the owner himself has been taking phone calls lately, and that area has improved greatly since.

All drivers doing "meet and greets" on the baggage floor are required to have signs with your name on it. If they do not have signs they are illegally soliciting rides. If you don't see a sign with your name on it call the company. Don't ask a driver walking around without a sign because he will say, yes he is from the company you are looking for and you will be riding with someone you will nothing about if you leave anything in his vehicle.

No kidding????

Wow - Didn't know about that one. I'm certain the driver we had was from Tiffany's. He knew our name and flight info. He was the same driver we had both ways, and we paid in advance, so he couldn't collect any money from us.

I just figured Tiffany didn't use the common sense of carrying signs.

It would have cost him $500.00 and a 30 day suspension from working at the airport if he had been caught without a sign by a GOAA official.

We always had our TT driver meet us with sign in hand also.
But, on my Dec trip, our driver had to stop at the Dolphin for me, and then on to BW for my friend. I was waiting out front, as told to, when a towncar drove up. I wasn't sure if it was for me or not. When I went over to the driver and asked him who he was there for, he said 'You!'. Ah, I think not I say to myself...I read the Transportation boards (obviously;) ) and know that there are unscrupulous drivers out there. When I asked him again, who it was he was looking for, he answered 'You' again. I asked him my name, he told me and said he was picking me up as well as my friend at BW. So...while I guess he thought he was being cute, he did startle me, and make me feel a bit uncomfortable. I realize that he was the same driver we had had on the trip from the airport but I really didn't recognize him and certainly didn't expect him to recognize me!!! Nothing particularly distinguishing about me!!

Holy crap - What a screwup on their part.

I guess that's just one mroe reason to pay your reservation off in advance. I can't imagine any driver would be willing to give a ride to someone for free.:)

We're using Sunray Transportation in May for our transfer to SeaWorld. We've never used them but read great things from the disboards and decided to send emails to both Sunray and Tiffany's re: carseats and cost, etc. Sunray replied within one hour and answered all my questions and my next onslaught of questions quickly and seemed to be very understanding to my concerns.

I've never rec'd a reply from Tiffany's and its been a week. Now having said that...maybe something happened & they haven't been able to reply...who knows but we booked w/Sunray.

Good luck!
