best tips/tricks for A&E fp?

So I know this one will be tricky. My dd is 4 so this is a must. We are a total party of 6 so I know that is a problem right off the bat.

What are the tips to get a party of 6?

Perhaps I should just tell my DS, dh, and Step dad to go eat ice cream instead or something to simplify this?

We are coming in May so I pray that they don't open up the new Meet in norway and cancel the mk FP.

Part of me wants to just forget the whole thing, maybe she wont realize? prob not but I can hope right?

Are you staying onsite? How many days?

The first tip is to get online at exactly midnight when your window opens, and try for a day late in your trip. If you do that, you have a decent chance of getting it for everyone.

If you don't get it that way, then keep trying to modify one of the FP you do get for all 6, for just 2 of you. For example, if you grab a Space Mountain for all 6, go in and choose you and your daughter to try to change that one for A&E. Keep trying, even if you can't get it right away. They do pop up occasionally, even very close to a trip.

If all else fails, just go early or late in the day and wait in line. In May there is a good chance that sometime in the day the standby wait will drop under an hour.

We stayed onsite December 9-16th and when I logged in (at midnight, 60 days out), A&E was available on Monday, December 14th in the late afternoon. I only tried booking it for 3 of our 6 guests. However, we were in the park on December 10th and the standby was only 40 minutes so we could have waited if we didn't have the FP+

We stayed last year in May and I got an A&E FP+ for our party of 6 easily for our last full day (we only stayed 5 nights). It was also available a little earlier in our trip, I believe.

So if you are online right when your window opens at midnight, and try for your last day at Magic Kingdom, I think you have great chances. Especially if you are going the first part of May.

I had the same experience the past two Mays having availability for A&E FP on our last day (Friday)no problem. Last year when I booked it again it was only available on Friday and I checked a bit more often leading up to the trip and snagged it for Monday. Always booked the FP at 60 out though.

We are staying onsite and I logged on right at midnight (11pm cst.) I booked A&E for our first MK day, a Tuesday, and had no problem. The morning times were gone so I picked the earliest time, 1pm.

I didn't even try for our second MK day. Hope my girls don't want to go back, lol. I'll just tell them everybody only gets 1 turn with them.

Oh I am dreading this. My DD(4) will be so disappointed if we don't get to meet them. We are staying off site so I hope there will still be FP left when it's my time.
