1) spray deodorant for feet. Heard that tip here. Don't know why it works, but our feet were blister free, cool, and amazingly soft. (Got Dove Deodorant w/ silk) Tried to go without one day and really noticed the difference.
2) Be at the gate at opening, be at the gate at opening, be at the gate at opening. If not, be prepared to wait for stuff, or to spend more days covering everything. (courtesy of UG and dis-boarders)
We really noticed how things would get busier after 11.
3) Go to the park that had evening EMH the night before. Heard this one here also. MGM was extremely light, having had EMH the night before, with the exception of Lights, Motor, Action.
3) Morning EMH at MK. This was incredibly un-busy! We managed to do 11 attractions between 8 - 11 am. Walk-ons, all of them. This was a friday morning, 8/26. Stopped for lunch at that point, and after that there were horrible wait times for everything. so my next tip is...
4) If possible, hit am EMH and then switch to another park after lunch time. It was our last day, and we had done each park once already, so we did a couple of things that had no waits after lunch, then took the monorail over to Epcot and got a fast pass for test track (had missed it the last time due to rain) and walked on a few other things.
5) Watch the MK fireworks near the park entrance and therefore beat the crowds out. It was still nuts, but at least we were not trapped back in the hub with all the crowds. This tip is soooo much easier to do when they are not renovating near the train station like they are now. We had to watch at an angle over the main street stores, but we had seen it before. Along with this tip...
6) If you have a stroller, leave Fantasy land or any other place in the rear of the park far in advance of the fireworks. We were trying to get to the entrance at about 8:40, and it was almost impossible to move.
Edited to add: 7) OH, I just thought of another one. When you are at the rope drop at MK, and you want to go to Tomorrowland, take the walkway to the Tomorrowland Noodle restaurant. It goes all the way through to Tomorrowland, is air conditioned, and most people go past it and congest the bridge to Tomorrowland. The only reason I know this is b/c I saw several people going that way, and I knew they didn't want noodles at 9 in the morning! LOL
Ok, that's what I can think of for now. Have fun planning!
