We leave Monday and will be there until Friday. It looks like it will rain a lot on our park days, which we know happens in FL lol. Just wondering if anyone has good tips we haven’t thought of to stay dry? We plan to have ponchos/rain jackets and an umbrella. It’s just my husband and myself, so we don’t want to carry a lot in, though we do plan to get a locker for whatever we do take in.

I'd make sure to get a long poncho, depending on how tall you are.

Wet feet suck. So there's two things we do when we go during rainy season, for us that's September. We will bring flip flops and throw them in a backpack. If we know it's going to rain or it starts and the radar shows it's going to last, we switch into sandals and have extra socks in our bag. My wife has gone to using these shoe covers., my wife loves them. I think they look silly and they run small so size up, but they work and my wife swears by them.

They are like this, just be sure to get ones that go up mid-calf, otherwise rain can get down into your shoe from running down.

If it’s all day rain forecasted invest in some rain gear, longer button down ponchos with hoods, and some shoe covers. They sell both on Amazon. If it’s really all day, monsoon rain, then even rain pants. If it’s just forecasted “showers” be prepared, but don’t fret, often that can translate to no rain at all or a quick passing shower

Quick dry shorts. Hybrid shorts.
Water friendly footwear. Walking sandals. Water sneakers. Water shoes good enough to walk distances If you insist on regular sneakers bring extra socks

You will get caught in the showers no matter what you do. It's part of the fun. Get on a fast ride to air things out. :)

This is Gold! Thank you!

A little dry towel to dry off your face is great

Quick-dry shoes and moisture-wicking socks are essential. Consider waterproof phone cases and ziplock bags for valuables. Parks are less crowded in rain - embrace it as an opportunity!
