Just returned from a week trip to Disney World. Wanted to share the best tip I rec'd before leaving,,,,,,,,,,,,

wegoshop.com

Forget about the hurried grocery stop on the way to the hotel, and forget about hauling grocery bags from the car to the room. I submitted a grocery list the day before leaving and at 9 am the first morning there, I get a knock on the door with everything I ordered. Cost is minimal and the owners are very nice,,,,,,,,,even accepted an add on to my order the night before! :earseek:

I'll second that! I used them in December, and was very impressed. I stayed in the cabins at Fort Wilderness and didn't have a car. She did the shopping while I slept and recovered from jet lag, then she showed up with everything I asked for! I would highly recommend them.

Thanks for posting.

Could you let me know how much the delivery fee is to a Disney resort ?

We are going to WDW in 3 weeks and plan on doing the 30 min. grocery stop.

Thanks

Denise

We are planning on using them when we go in April. Do they deliver to your door, or to the main bldg? We will be staying a Pop Century. What is the earliest that they deliver?

I was so happy, when I first learned of this service. Just haven't found our the details yet.

Thanks. :D

Thanks for the tip!

I don't really have a comment, I just wanted to subscribe to this thread to hear the answers....

Well, I don't have all the answers, but I'll give it a try! I was staying at the FW cabins, so they came right to my door. I'm not sure how it works in the hotels. I think that you had to be there when they deliver the groceries, unless you prepay. I'm not sure about that, though, so it would be good to ask. They ask you a time to deliver the groceries, and she was right on time, so it wasn't like I was waiting around all day. If you check their website, www.WeGoShop.com, make sure you don't click on 'Orlando,' but on 'Walt Disney Resorts.' There is a FAQ section there that may answer your questions, and if not, there is an email link there, too. I asked them a question, and they got back to me ASAP. Happy traveling!

I went on the website. There is a percentage fee that they charge, if you are not there to accept, and pay for the order. I forget the amount though. I'm so excited about this. I hate rushing through the grocery, trying to find what I want, while 2 kids, and a hubby, are just DYING to get to the hotel.

I think it said there hours are 9am-7 pm also. THe fees were $15, for up to $100, and $20, for $100-200.

Thanks again. :flower1:

:Pinkbounc Wow, I'm so excited! I was trying to figure out how I was going to fit in the shopping trip! This sounds like a great option. Thanks for the tip!!

We stayed at the Contemporary in the tower and we were there to accept delivery. $15 fee. Was worth every penny!

do we tip the delivery person?

This sounds pretty good. I might try it for our short February trip. So, they shop where you want them to & get the brands you want (we do a lot of store brands anyway).

I checked out the website, but it doesn't give any prices. How do the prices compare to a regular grocery store? Are you paying more for the items? It also said that they charge $15 plus a delivery fee. What is the delivery fee?
