Best Tip for MVMCP - wear HATS

I gotta tell you guys how to have the most fun at the MVMCP's! Make/design and wear your own NON-Disney produced hats! My inlaws had this idea and found these great hats (cheap) at local WalMart stores around Halloween time, then decorated them up with floral sprays, shiny green fabric, and Mickey Christmas pins. I can't tell you how many comments and compliments and "where'd you get your hats?" questions we got from people! Everywhere we went people would come up to us. Even the CM's while we were having dinner at Tony's...one of the wait staff came over to us and said she'd been checking out the holiday hats to decide which one to buy because she was going to be going to a party, and she'd decided on the ones we were wearing, so where did we get them?


And during the Christmas parade, you cannot BELIEVE all the characters IN THE PARADE would point to our hats, or their own head to signify a hat, then give a thumbs up to us! Buzz, Rabbit, Mrs. Claus, Fairy Godmother, and EVEN SANTA CLAUS said into his microphone "I LIKE YOUR HATS!" during both parades we attended.

It was so fun! Get your whole group to dress up alike with your own hats - and I think the scarves helped, too, and you will never have so much fun at the MVMCP!!!

I'm the one on the far left...my hat wasn't on right, not pulled down far enough, but I wanted to show you the whole group of us.

Funny that you should post this. We have purchased some special hats for the event too. We will have very unique hats since ours will be a tribute to Rutt & Tuke from Brother Bear. I can't wait to take on MVMCP with my antlers on. lol Maggie

We saw you on Buzz Lightyear. Both DH & I loved your hats. We were the ones that asked about them as we got on the ride. DD & I had Mickey & Goofy Santa Hats, DH had a red & green hat with elf ears.

I am going to remember that for the next time we go (whenever that will be???)

You guys look adorable - but my family wouldn't be caught dead all dressing alike. I'm usually the one all decked out in Mickey gear, they claim I'm an embarrassment!!
