Best timing of BBB

Hello!

Looking for advice as our booking window opens in two days. I have a princess lover, but I do not want to pay for royal tea. I've watched YouTube videos and since we have done princess adventure at Disneyland it just does not compare. I will be trying my darndest to book Royal gathering which will be offered 2 days of our 7 night cruise.

I want to try and book BBB before Royal gathering. What time should I be looking to book?

This is also where I wish you knew your dinning rotation ahead of time- if we cannot get royal gathering I would like to plan her BBB for the night we are At rapunzel's table as she has her dress all ready to go on the trip

I have always seen the Royal Gathering done first thing in the morning so you would want the earliest BBB you could book for that day and then the latest Royal Gathering I would think.

You can put in a request for a dining rotation although it isn't guaranteed. We requested a specific rotation on our Magic sailing, however, and we did get it.

And, yes you definitely don't need to do the Royal Tea so good call! I said I would never do it but our last cruise was a girls trip and my daughter was 8 so I figured she may outgrow it soon so we did it. All of the reviews I read were very accurate. The interactions were not that great at all and truthfully were much better at the Royal Gathering!

I’ve always tried to book BBB for the afternoon of our formal dinner night. We booked it too early in the day on our first cruise and my daughter was upset because we didn’t want her to get in the pool and mess up her hair before dinner! You can request your dining rotation but it’s never guaranteed. We’ve also always brought her dress onboard with us from WDW to save a bit. We did buy the outfit for our son because you can only get that onboard.

I got a 9:15am slot for our last sea day. Royal gathering is offered that day- but can't book it yet. My hope is to get the latest Royal gathering time. Also by doing it the last day we don't have to worry about impacting swimming or anything. If she chooses to swim after Royal gathering then that's her choice! If we aren't able to get Royal gathering I'm not sure we will keep the appointment. We shall see.

If you’re not able to book it when your booking window opens, keep checking back to see if someone drops it. You can always go to Guest Services as soon as you get on the ship and see if they can work you in.
