I'm looking for opinions on the best time to do character meals. We will be at DLR Nov 3-7. We are looking to do breakfast at Plaza Inn and lunch at Ariel's Grotto. I'll be with my husband, 3 year old DD and 6 month old DD.

The park hours are not yet posted. I'm wondering if it's better to do a late breakfast and snack in the morning while going on rides or doing an early breakfast. Also, better to do it on an early entry day or not (we are staying at the Grand Californian).

Park will probably open at 10. I'd do the earliest meal possible. We did and there were tons of characters. It didn't take too long.

I'd go the other way. I'd book the last breakfast time at Plaza on the day you get EE to DL. You'll get in around 9am probably and then have breakfast at 10:50 or so taking advantage of short lines. For Ariel's I'd take whatever works best for your party. Expect each meal to take 60-90 minutes.

I've always liked booking them first thing when the park opens, but if you're staying at GCH, then do it later in the morning. Minnie's is our favourite, I really like people watching.

I was able to get an 8:10 the second week of November. It is an EE day for DL. Does that mean we will get in ahead if the EE starts at 9? Or is it likely the EE starts at 8?

I wondered the same thing because they had a 7:10 am spot on one of the days we are there. I haven't booked anything yet.

Thanks guys. Our meals are loooong because the toddler takes forever to eat. We will probably book a slightly later time so we can do a ride or 2 in the morning.

we have a character meal dinner booked at goofys kitchen on the 12th.. How is the experience? How many characters would be there on average?
