Best Time to Ride FEA Standby?

We weren't able to get FP+ for our Nov. 1-10 trip for Frozen so will need to ride standby at some point. I think our options are a RD on regular open morning or trying to ride during evening EMH on Nov. 7. And if we do RD we'll be coming from the international gate side, and didn't know if that would put us at a disadvantage. Anyone have thoughts on best approach to ride with a pretty minimal wait?

I think you'll get on it with a reasonable wait if you get there early. With FoP and Pandora, it's not as popular as it was when it was brand new.

You don't even need to do rope drop unless you're trying to do it, Soarin' and/or Test Track. Most of the World Showcase is closed between 9:00-11:00. People coming through Future World hit Soarin' and/or Test Track On their way to Frozen.

I've been stalking the Lines app since the summer, and the waits are normally lowest between 10 and 11-11:30 (aside from immediately after rope drop, of course). It's not 100%, but it's a pretty solid trend. There's no FP+ before 11, so it helps keep things manageable between the rope drop rush and the FP crowd slowing things down later. We're there the 5th-19th next month, and that is our plan. If Test Track or FEA goes down, of course, that messes things up. I'm hoping for a 30-35 minute wait or less when we do it, but Fate may have other plans.
