I went on January 31 to Febuary 4. The best weather is then and the crowds are low. You don't need to worry about 95 degree weather or sunburn. There are some breezes and the lines for rides are short. I went on Splash Mountain and was able to stay on for two rides in a row. Even Ghirardelli at Downtown Disney was emptier instead of all the way full. Trust me around then is the best time for WDW. ;)

Sounds great for those who can do it!! We do not like to take our kids out of school so we are at the mercy of the school district calendar! Also, we like to swim on our trips and we are from the south so we do not swim in Janurary or any time around it! Glad you had fun though, can't wait for our next trip!!!

Best time to go is anytime you can go. We have been during all the seasons and we are thrilled and thankful that we can afford to go.

safetymom, I totally agree! Anytime you can go is the very best time to be there. We've been to WDW in all seasons too, and have NEVER had a bad time.

Yes any time is great. Maybe I thought it was nice because my dad took me and I had a couple of days off. But the weather is a bit better because there is a nice breeze.

I just got back from another trip to WDW this year. I went on Sunday May 31 to MK and there sure wasn't any long lines. In fact the park looked pretty empty.

Hey MonorailDude, does the MK get somewhat croweded on Saturdays during this time of year? The reason I'm asking is I've heard that Saturdays is usually the day most of the locals go to the MK.

We've usually found that May is the best time of year to go. It's right before school's get out for the summer and the weather is still great. Which means the waterparks are open and the lines are pretty thin!!

Although, when we went in May of '99, they had a freak cold front come in for 2 or 3 days of our trip and we had to go into Orlando and buy jeans and jackets for all 6 of us!! The weather was never that cold before in May when we were there. Even the locals were surprised about the cold!

Attendance is much lower this year so you can pretty well pick whenever you want. If you really prefer low crowd times, the official disney stance is don't go the week of any holidays when attendance is up from kids being out of school.

Usually Saturdays would be crowded. But even though families in Florida may still be going it isn't as crowded. I think most of the crowds are made up of tourist from around. The lines are a lot shorter than usual. I rode Buzz Lightyear with the mininumline fast on a Saturday night.

Before ever planning a trip look for a weather channel for there if possible. And choose a time when you have extra days off. When I went I was delayed almost seven hours coming back. So I had to stay an entire extra night!! :earsboy:
