hi, need help and advice please, it looks like we may need to re schedule our November 2015 trip due to DD being ill, we will need to make a decision by 24th Aug .
originally i was thinking same time next November but now i'm thinking maybe Feb, March or April for 18 days

this is where i need the help,

is there a food and wine event in any of those months ?

out of those 3 months which would you recommend and why ?

are there any dates to avoid because of holidays or busy times ?

whats the weather temperature wise and rain fall ?

anything else i need to think about for these dates ?

thanks in advance for any info you can give me

Late March/early April will be CRAZILY busy because if Easter/spring break. Weather is fantastic though - no rain, and hot. Early March (before 25th) or later April (after 9th) will be quieter. The later you leave it, the more rain you are likely to get.

You'll want to avoid Thanksgiving in November if you want a quiet trip, too. Also Halloween will make the first few days of November busy.

Food and wine is autumn only. But Epcot has a flower and garden festival late April and May with food booths. I'd look at the crowd calendar on touring plans (costs about $10 a year) gives you a busy guide out of 10.

Feb has Presidents' Day which spikes crowds. Easter is second busiest period to Xmas.

hi kayh2003 our trip as it stands is 3rd-20th Nov, DD is gutted that it looks like we wont be able to go as planned. although we really like that time of year at Disney because of the extras like Osborne lights Christmas decs and F&W (which we have never done). so now we are thinking lets not wait till next Nov lets change the date to early next year, i personally cant do heat, we went in early May on our last trip, never ever again i just cant cope with the heat, Nov at 26 is borderline for me :sunny: don't know what i was thinking when i agreed to go in May :crazy2:

i talked to DD about going early next year and that seems to have cheered her up a little. have been looking at crowd calendars and maybe an end of jan beginning of Feb looks good, not sure about what the weather will be, have you been during that time?

Been in Feb - got lucky and it was 30+ degrees and no rain, but can be very chilly - a bit unpredictable, but it's quiet at that time of year.

If you're looking for a quiet time, I'd definitely suggest February (but be aware that if we have late snow in the UK, it could cause delays in flights out of the UK).

I went in March this year and yes, it is fairly busy due to Spring Break, but it wasn't as crazy as I've seen it in the past and with good management of your Magic Passes, it's easy to manage. Weather when I went in March was very hot (unseasonally so). I missed the rain but I was told that the week before I arrived it had been tipping it down.
