Best time to go!

I'm not the biggest fan of crowds and I'm looking for the best time to go. I was thinking of going in April/May of 2009. Or saving it until September/October? Thanks

We are heading over in September for the first time and it looks like the crowds will be lighter according to reports. Can't wait!

Try and avoid school and public holidays. There is a link on the relly useful sticky at the top of the forum to find these out. January, September, early October and November are 'supposed' to be the quietest times. Any weekend will be busy so try and start your holiday from a Sunday or Monday.

Best thing to do is get a brochure and find the cheepest dates, they will 'usually' be the quietest.
