Okay guys. Have a simple question. We've been to WDW MANY, MANY times and would like to go to fall or let's say before the holidays. However, husband only wants to go when it's very warm (not hot/humid) and wants to be able to wear shorts and go swimming. I was thinking week of Nov. 16. Figured that way we could probably get the holiday decorations in and it's still not too crowded. But how's the weather at that time? I'm certain there's someone out there that's been in the month of November. Open for suggestions.

We were there last November 7-11 and while it was nice, I thought it was cool. We did wear shorts but I kept a sweater on over my short sleeve shirt and we did not go swiming. At night we definitely needed jackets when the sun went down.

You're talking about the 1st 2 weeks of October.

i agree with the PP, sept into the very beginning of oct is normally still warm.
btw, also agree with your DH: as much we would love to see the holiday decor, there is noway, nohow i'll go when it's less than 80 degrees during the day ~ we go to fla to get away from the cold! :sunny: once (and only once) we went during the 3rd week of oct. most days were 60-70 (chilly, but not painful), but one day we woke up to 30 degree weather:cold: ~ give me hot & humid soakin' in the sun july/august over cold & coats any day!

We usually go that time of the year because it is around our anniversary...warm enough in the day for shorts and cooler at night so you dont feel all yucky... and sometimes cool enough for pants and a light sweater

Those are our requirements also so we are planning a trip for the end of September into the first few days of October.

We visited WDW 12/07 - 12/17/07. The weather was drop-dead gorgeous most of the time--quite warm. Didn't even need long sleeves at night--and I'm cold when the temperature drops much below 70 degrees!

However...the last two days were wicked cold!

It's a gorgeous time to visit WDW, but you have to be willing to accept what ever Mother Nature throws at you. I've had terrific weather for the most part during my December visits (2003, 2004 and 2007).

By far, the best, consistently nice weather (swimming by day, maybe a sweatshirt at night) with fewer crowds was beginning to mid-Ocotber - and you have the Food & Wine festival at Epcot which is my fav. I wish we could still go at that time, but with two high schoolers, those days are long gone!

This is my problem too! Could not decide between end of Sept or early Oct. Value rates made the decision for me!! Like to swim but do not like to sweat profuselly (sp) lol. Just hope for the best I guess!!!!
