I'll be staying at USO in the beginning of November and would love to try Voodoo Doughnuts. I have heard the lines can be long. When is the best time to go? I was thinking of going in the morning right when they open, which I believe is 7:45. Is that a good time or is there a better time? Thanks.

The best bet is to mobile order and just pick it up when you arrive.
Those lines are a mess, stay out of the actual store if possible!

I think the best bet is the middle of the day. In mornings, people are getting donuts for breakfast. At park close/after dinner, they're getting donuts to take back for tomorrow's breakfast.

I agree with middle of the day. As people start leaving the parks (say 4pm and after) the line to get in can be really long. They also run out if certain donuts so going early can help.

Mobile ordering is the way to go if you are short on time.

FYI, you can order Voodoo Doughnuts on the Universal Orlando app. Just place your order on the app and pick up the doughnuts whenever you want. When you are ready to pick them up, just go into your order on the app and click that you're ready. You will receive a notification when they're ready. It usually takes 15-20 minutes.

I usually mobile order and pickup sometime in the afternoon or earlier evening whenever I am headed back to the resort for a break or done for the night.

I don't wait in Voodoo lines at all - I send my teen to pick some up for the rest of is while we stand in line for early park admission. I figure it's not so terrible for him to stand in the donut line when the alternative is to stand in the entrance line. Then he comes back with the goods, and we all have some sugar and it makes the wait just a bit sweeter!
