Best time to go: Jan or April?

I'm taking my kids in April this year. We've never been there this time of year so I'm hoping for great weather and not so crazy crowds. We've gone in December, May, June, and July. I know I will NEVER do July again. The beginning of December was really nice and I didn't think the crowds were to bad. So I guess we will see how it goes.

I have to ditto the tour groups. We did not stay at a value for our Jan 31-Feb 7 trip and for that I am super glad because even when we were there there were lots of tour groups in the parks and when we were waiting for the ME at the airport when we flew in the lines for the value resorts were FULL of tour groups and dance teams. When it comes to kids/teens and there are only so many adults...it gets rowdy. I'm a light sleeper so super glad we did not stay at resort that had a lot of the tour/dance groups (our resort had none that I saw)
