When is the best time to go to WDW in September?? We are honeymooning January 2008 and are looking to go back in September 2009 and taking my parents with us for their first visit. We are wondering when the best time to go in September is (crowd levels)??

Although it can get quite warm and there's the threat of hurricanes, the first week of September, following Labor Day, is usually fairly quiet. Everyone who's going to school has already gone and crowds are down.

We started going down the first week of September, before kids, and it is great. On the labor day holiday the bartender at the Banana Cabana at CBR told me that 4500 people had checked out that day. The rest of the week we basically walked onto every ride.

The only draw back was we had to cancel in 05 or 06 because of huricane charlie. If the weather goes your way, you will have a great time though.

I have to agree. We were there the 9/4-9/9 and using TGM's green days, we walked on to every ride with no to very little wait. Soarin was only 5 minutes after the park was open a 1/2 an hour. At MGM, RNR was closed so I expected TOT to be packed and it was a walk on. We didn't need our FP except for when Space Mountain was down for a bit (after we had walked on 3 times in a row) and then the line was 70 minutes long but we of course walked on with our FP's. Actually, BTTR was so awesome that we didn't even have to get off the train to ride again!:cool1:

Hey, we are going in September of 2009 also. We picked the 12th - 22nd. On our last trip we went 9/23/06- 9/30/06.
