Best time to go Between 6/15 and 9/5

The kids are getting to old to pull out of school for a week. So we have to go during the summer. We can go anytime between 6/15 and 9/5. We've allways gone "jersey week" or the first week of May. Any advise to the best week??

Most of the FL and other southern schools are back in session by mid-August, so that might be a less crowded time to go. But it will be HOT.

We've gone the week after Labor day and the crowds were very light. The only drawback is that you may get wet, but that is going to be the case any time during the summer.

As late as possible in your window - crowds will be lighter

We've gone a couple times in late Aug. the crowds lighten considerably mid-month - but as mentioned - it is HOT.
Any time in the summer is sweltering tho - I love it & there are tricks to making it more bearable......

I agree...the later in that time window the better...it will be super hot anytime during the summer (June won't likely be any cooler than August or early September) and if you could go the week after Labor Day the crowds are nominal.... although it seems to me crowds are less anytime in August than in June or July (just my feelings from out past experiences...no hard data to back that up)
