Best time to catch fireworks from Cinderella's Royal Table?

Hello
We made an ADR yesterday at Cinderella's Royal Table at 8:40 pm which was suggested by the CM that I spoke to over the phone. He told us we could be in there between 75-90 min. He also checked and said the fireworks would be at 10 pm on 8/7 which is the day we are going to MK. I'm guessing from what I have read we won't be seated at 8:40 but more like 9 pm'ish which will then give us enough time to see the fireworks from inside the restaurant.
TIA

I saw a video yesterday where you could see outside and it was showing the fireworks. I know that there are stained glass windows but I thought it was just some of them.

We've seen the fireworks during dinner at CRT. You'll see some of the fireworks, although not all of the tables will be able to see them. It's a different view and one that I would recommend only if you've already seen them from Main Street or the hub.

We've seen them before from main street and I know we would be able to see more from outside. We've never been at CRT before though and I think it might be the only time going.
Thanks again

That's good. I just didn't want you to be disappointed by the limited view from CRT. I think seeing them through the stained glass windows while dining in a castle is fun. :)

So do you think our ADR time is good? How about when can I request there that I'd like to be by a window? We're going to be at MK all day. Can I request it in the morning or does it have to be right before the ADR time?
Thanks again

We had dinner last year at 8pm and were seated within a few minutes. We were 1 table away from the window and got lucky and had a nice view of the fireworks at 9pm while we had dessert. The window would have been better but it was still nice. You do not get the full effect but it was the only time we could get into CRT and we had seen the fireworks before.

Are you going to be upset if no windows are available? Of you want a specific seat I would get there very early but you still might noy get it.

If we can't get a window I don't think I will get upset. Just the fact that we are even having dinner at CRT will be magical enough. It would be nice to sit at or close to a window though.

You can request a window table when you check in, but there's no guarantee you'll be seated at one.

We were there one time when Wishes was at 10:00 and it was clear that CRT had stopped seating well before that time. We were at a table that didn't have a good view of the fireworks, but our server said we could go over to one of the empty tables closer to the windows.

The 8:40 res should be fine for 10:00 Wishes. After you check in you'll have your photo with Cinderella in the foyer before going upstairs to the dining room. It'll probably be at least 9:00 before you're seated. Dinner and seeing all the princesses usually takes about 90 minutes.

We have an 8:05 reservation at CRT on a night when Wishes is at 9:00pm. My husband likes the fireworks but hates standing in a huge crowd to watch them so I think the reservation time is perfect. I am hoping for a window table but if we don't get one, no biggie. We will watch Wishes from the Poly beach two nights later.

. . . will then give us enough time to see the fireworks from inside the restaurant . . .
TIA

1) I do not know who said fireworks are viewable from CRT.
2) They are not.
3) You MIGHT get a few flickers through the windows.
4) But, most windows are stained.
5) Even when viewed, you do not get all of the show.
6) Inside is a poor choice for viewing.
7) If you want fireworks, go outside.

I don't think you seem to understand the idea/experience I'm trying to get from eating in CRT. We have seen the Wishes fireworks before from outside the castle and I'm pretty sure we'll see them again. Being able to sit inside the caste while fireworks are going off is totally different and something that I don't think we'll get to do again. Even if we don't see the whole show it will still be magical in itself.
There are many videos showing that the fireworks can be seen from inside the castle. Obviously not like if I was outside. If I wanted to just see the fireworks I would be outside but that's not what we are trying to achieve. I also know it's a long shot to be close to a window bu we will take our chances.
Thanks for you input though. I appreciate it just like everyone elses.

Here's a video of the fireworks from our table at CRT in 2009: http://www.flickr.com/photos/danuv/3398795445/in/set-72157631645580680

We were incredibly lucky to be sitting right next to the window there overlooking Fantasyland. They piped the music in and we thought the view was pretty amazing.... not the same as watching it from the proper perspective but still... Not sure if its all the same now. They piped the music in. I'm guessing that the people who weren't sitting right by those windows probably couldn't see all that much.

Here are some of the other pictures I took that night:

As others have said, you won't see the entire show, but what you can see is worth it (to me, at least). They dim the lights in the restaurant and pipe in the music. As PP said, not all tables have a good view of the fireworks, but these are a few photos taken from the second level, at a table by the railing.

We went to CRT on our honeymoon and got a table right up against the window. We have seen Wishes before... But I thought the view was great from our table. No... You can't see everything but it is still a great view and you are IN THE CASTLE WATCHING FIREWORKS!!!!!! In my signature I have started our honeymoon dining reviews... CRT review is in there from December.

Congrats on your wedding. Makes me want to renew my vows! Loved the pics and the review on CRT! Glad to hear you are going back. So you had a 6:40 ADR and got there at 6:15. I know that being your honeymoon and all helped. Mine is at 8:40 pm. I hope that getting there with enough time will help get a seat near a window.

Personally I don't think you will get a great few. I am legally blind with a guide dog, so my family has been very accomodating to me and although we have tried, we never stay in the crowd for the fireworks, just to much for me and dog. So next week I am surprising my family with a fireworks desert party at tomorrow land Terrance. I know some say it is not the absolute best view, but for our family not to be in the crowd is all we want, me and my dog always get stepped on, pushed and nervous, so it is well worth the $100 for the five of us, to be able to sit in a much less crowded balcony where the family will enjoy the first fireworks show in 25 years of going, except from the balcony of a hotel across the street from dlr or on the beach at poly.

That may be a better setting for you also.
