Best time to book?

I'm starting to plan our first family trip to Disney for Sept. 2012. It's very overwhelming after reading all these threads about hotels, restaurants, attractions, passes, etc...

When should I book our trip at the latest? We'll be flying out of Edmonton to LAX and I'd like to get a great deal and not leave things too late in case we miss something.

Most hotels will allow you to book and cancel a room with no extra penalty a few days before the reservation. If you are very worried you can always book a room somewhere and then keep searching for better rates. That way you at least have a fall back plan. I don't know how early you can book hotels in advance since you are looking at Sept of next year.

I would suggest the same thing. Book a good deal that you can cancel fee free. Just check every few weeks and if you see something better cancel one and book another hotel.

Look in mid summer for ticket deals. Last year they sold a by 3 day PH get a 5day PH.
