Best time to book the Radisson by the port?

We would like to stay by the port the night before we cruise. When do the codes or specials come out? We are going in September. Also, what other hotels have parking and a shuttle to the port? I know about the Hampton Inn but I would bet there are more. Anyone?

The Radisson seems to be a very popular hotel.

I have read you can get a nice suite that has one or two king beds and a sleeper sofa for $119.

If you go to their website and use the "AAA" code if you are a AAA member.

You may be able to get a better rate at one of the many online hotel reservation services.

Sorry for the P.S., but a Google search shows the Confort Inn/ Suites on Cocoa Beach also has a park & ride to the port.

I booked 2 months ago for August, $99, using no codes. Just went to their site and I think it was the discover Florida rate. For 1 night I really don't care what the size of the room is, after all we will be spending 7 nights in the cabin.

And I wouldn't wait too long to book a room - there are now 5 ships saliing out of Port Canaveral every weekend, including that incredibly huge Carnival Pride, and soon enough, their next megaliner, even bigger will take its place. And the idea of showing up the night before is not a Disney exclusive

Last week I reserved for August 20, on the Radisson website and I got an $89.00 rate, didn't ask for anything special, its just the 4 of us and 2 are small children. The total with tax and fees is $98.79. HTH

I booked this week for one night on Aug 2nd - standard room, rate of $99. Cant figure out how folks are getting a better rate.

I even tried a code suggested by another on this chat line -visit fla- but it didnt work.

Any more suggestions? Savings are always a plus!

Try the Code FALL.

I just booked for June 2003 using this code. $79 for standard, $99 for King Suite.

To see all the specials rates, use the main Radisson link at www.radisson.com

Enter Cape Canaveral, FL, US for City, State, Country. Also enter the dates and number of people.

This will pull up a web site which lists all the Radissons close to Cape Canaveral. Click on the View Rates for the Cape Canaveral hotel to show some of the basic choices. Now click on the 'view all rates' button at the bottom of the screen. This will show all the specials they are offering.

I looked in September and it looks like you have the best rate available. I would suggest booking a room now, then monitor the web site to see if any better deals are offered in the future.

Bahama...the Port is only about 5 mins from the Radisson. It isnt on the beach but you can just go right down the street and there is plenty of beach access.

It's about a mile as the seagull flies from the cruise terminal, but the driving distance is 2.7 miles. It is definitely <b><i>not</i></b> on the water. I have a list of lodging options at my web site...
