Best time of year for HH?

We arethinking of going to HH next summer with the kids. We have been there once before when my oldest was just 18months old...she'll be 9 this fall! (Also have a son who is 6) Thought it would befun to do again and the kids areat fun ages. If you had to go in the summer months, when would the besttime be to go. Don't want to take the kids out of school because we are taking them out for 4days in October to go to WDW. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks! Kathy

I understand it is hard to get HH at the 7 month point for June, July & August. Although I have no first hand experience with this - what I have read on this board says you might have luck for early June, but by mid-June through Mid-August you would proabably have to use the waitlist. Also, I learned that 2 BRs are more abundant at HH, so if you want a 2BR, you have a greater chance of getting it 7 months out than if you want a studio or 1 BR.

When do your children get out of school? I'd suggest early June, as it's easier to get in without waitlisting, and there aren't as many jellyfish in the ocean as you get in July/Aug. Have fun!
