Best time for Tusker House breakfast?

We already had a reservation for Tusker House breakfast at 8:05, and then I was able to find a 10:50 reservation as well. Which time would be better for maximizing short wait times for rides in the morning? We do rope drop, so we'll be there early either way. So we could eat at 10:50 and have maybe and hour and a half to ride hopefully Dinosaur, Everest and maybe the Safari before breakfast. Or we could do the 8:05, but if we're not done by 9, then we'll miss out somewhat on the low wait times, I'm guessing. Also, will all the breakfast food still be out at 10:50, or will they be putting out lunch then too? We really want the breakfast options.

Any thoughts on which time is better?

(Our FP+ is for later in the afternoon, and this is the first week of June on a Friday, if that helps.)

Also, does anyone know if they still do a picture with Donald before you go in, and can you use Memory Maker for it? It seems like I've seen differing reports about this.

Thanks in advance!

I'd keep the 8:05. You should not have any problems finishing your meal and being out the door by 9:00. Probably ask for your check early so that you have it taken care of when you are ready to leave. You will already be in the back of the park near the Safari, so you can knock that our before most people even make their way into the park. Then circle around to Everest and Dinosaur and be done with those three rides (and breakfast) by 10:30 or so.

One of the benefits of the 8:00 ADR is you are pretty much guaranteed to be seated close to your reserved time. One time we had a 10:00 ADR at Tusker House and it was about 10:45 before we got seated. Wasted a lot of time sitting around waiting for our buzzer to go off.

The one plus to the 10:50 would be if you wanted to try the lunch menu as well. You would likely hit the change over time from breakfast to lunch, and get to try both.

Agree. You will be in the heart of the park by 9:00, short walk to whichever ride you choose. Tusker House is often running behind so being in the first wave is a good idea.

We've done it both ways. I prefer the earlier ADR- seating is quick, the characters usually come around pretty quickly there, you can easily be out by 9am and walk right over to Safari before the line forms. Everest and Dinosaur shouldn't be bad at that time either.

DH prefers the later breakfast at Tusker because you get to sample the lunch buffet as well.

No picture with Donald at the entry anymore and no photo pass photographers are there.

Exactly what I wanted to know. I knew DISers would give me the perfect answer. We'll keep the 8:05 reservation.

Thanks so much!
