i am going to be booking tables at Cafe mickey, Rainforest cafe, plant hollywood, and a couple of more places.
Just want to know, when is the best time to book for lunch and dinner, like i mean when there isnt any parades or shows going on at the same time?
first i was thinking since we will be having a 7am breakfast, prob a 12 lunch? and maybe a 5 - 5.30 dinner?
Cant really have dinner any later than six, as we will have a toddler with us, and want him to get a good meal before he gets to sleepy
Thankyou in advance

Assuming you want to see the characters at Cafe Mickey you will have to book for lunch as they dont appear in the evening til 6/6.30. so 12.00 will be a good time.
You cant book at Rainforest cafe and I dont think you can at Planet Hollywood either so will just have to turn up

the parades are on at different times throughout the year so you really need to check the schedule which will go up online. but when we've gone the parade has normally been at 5pm so we've booked for dinner at 6pm and watched the parade from the top of main street so we can get out quickly. this is the way to do it to get in before the queues at rainforest cafe and planet hollywood and annettes as well.

we've always gone with a toddler and have done it two different ways - the first time we ate at cafe mickey at 12 for lunch and found it lovely and quiet so although there weren't as many characters they spent more time with you and it wasn't so noisy. the last time we went for dinner at 6pm which was much busier but more characters and still great interaction.

cafe mickey the characters are out from 12-3 and 6-10 i think - worth checking.

we had dinner at Mickey's at 6.15pm and rainforest cafe 5.30pm. No queue at all. We did have reservations for Mickey's.

Will your toddler sleep during the day? We have been 3 times, first September last year and DS had just turned 3 and had given up naps about 6 months before. He slept every day for at least an hour and a half in his buggy, When we were there in March he managed 1 day out of the 5 without a nap (all these early mornings, late nights and lots of walking).

We had dinner at 6.30 and he was fine, inventions, rainforrest cafe, Cafe Mickey etc.

We will be doing the same next week, we never really booked lunch as the one day that we did he had already fallen asleep and would not look at a character in cafe Mickeys once he was awake, although we do fancy cowboy cookout but I would book for 12.....
