Best time for fishing excursion?

We are thinking of planning a fishing excursion and were wondering, out of the 7am & 10am fishing excursion times, on which one did people catch the most fish? We have kids going and we want them to be excited about catching lots of fish! Thanks!

DS and I went at 7 AM and caught 21 nice Bass. Don't know about 10 AM. Good luck.

If you do the 7am one from Boardwalk, you may be able to go in to world showcase lagoon in epcot! we were able to do that in 2000.

I will be getting married on October 7th and for part of my fiance's gift during the honeymoon is a fishing excursion. We will be taking a 7 am excursion from the Wilderness Lodge. We did have a question on whether we should tip our guide or if that is included in the price. THanks!

DH & ds15 are going to do it Oct 5th out of Contemperary - they did not want the "pontoon" experience from the YC - they are opting for the nitro bass boat - I will post and let you know how it was/is

Don't want to be a spoiler, but we done the 7 a.m. excursion and did not catch a single fish. We did not even have a bite. We fished the waters of DTD. Hope you have better luck for the kid's sake. My children were really disappointed!
