Best time for Easter, Before or After?

I am planning a trip for Easter break of 09. As a teacher, this is the best option I have for next year. We usually go in June, early July, but I am able to take an extra day off next year and would love to visit at a cooler time. I understand it will be crowded during the Easter holiday, but we braved the 4th of July, so I know we can handle it. My question is, which time is best? The week leading up to Easter and leave the Sat right before Easter, or from the Sat before to the Sat after, or should we do a mid week before to a mid week after? Thanks all!!!!

Most public schools have spring break either the week before or week after Easter (I'm a teacher also, and my school's spring break always runs from Good Friday through the following Friday). In terms of crowds, they'll be roughly equal. But, the weather is fantastic!
