Not a newbie at DLR, but might as well be, as it's been nearly 45 years since I did an in-depth trip. At WDW there are huge threads about the best time of the year to go -- what about DLR? I know crowds are much less variable because of the effect of locals, which also means that during the week is better than on the weekend. And I presume that during the school year is better than during the summer.
Other than that, any times better than others? Any months when certain rides are normally down for maintenance? My last big trip HM was still under construction and although I had a flying half day trip in 94, it was closed for a holiday refit, so I really want to avoid that. Any off season months that are typically bad weather?
