Best tickets for a short stay?

My parents are joining us for a few days at the end of our trip next year and need tickets for just a few days. I think they'll probably only need 3 or 4 day tickets with the park hopper option.
We've only ever had the 14 day UK ultimate tickets so I've no experience of buying anything else! Should they ask their travel agent to book them as part of a hotel package (although that package won't include flights as they have other plans)? Or do i go direct to Disney UK? Disney US?
We are DVC members so maybe I could get a better deal if I bought the tickets for them?
There's plenty of time to figure this out, but I don't know where to start!

For only a short stay they will best off with MYW tickets.

I have found Undercover Tourist usually have the best price. If you sign up to the Mousesavers newsletter then you can get an extra discount by a couple of $$.

Unfortunately the only tickets DVC members get a deal on are annual passes which isn't going to help you.
