Am I on crack or just missing something?? I have seen numerous people say they bought MYW tix from the online brokers and saved a ton. Ummm.....I am looking into getting my mom a 10-day PH for our Feb trip (the rest of us have or are getting AP's). I went on Disneyworld.com and the 10-day PH is 270-ish with tax. I went to 2 online broker sites from Mousesavers and they are 270 on one and 271 on the other.

Did I miss something or is the savings they supposedly have just off the gate price?? And if so, why do people buy through them in the first place??

Any DVCers have any advice for me on this? Is AAA any cheaper? I don't even think they have a 10-day MYW PH, to be honest. I think all they had on their site for our AAA was up to 7 days last time I checked.

This is why I am glad DH, the kids and I are doing AP's. Stress free tickets. :thumbsup2

The Disneyworld site does not include tax and shipping.

The online brokers will not save anyone a ton, more like a few dollars per ticket. But I suppose it adds up if you have to buy tickets for a family of 5 (like we do).

There is a 10 day ticket that is really a lot cheaper in the long run. I got in Jan, the 10 day, never expires, park hopper with the 5 extra activites and it came to about $31 per activity. That was 15 days of fun for $31 a day. You can't beat that! I think that $27 a day for the park is a really good deal when you consider that just a couple of years ago, they weren't that cheap! A one day ticket is about 60, so adding on more days is a much cheaper way to go. You may want to check out mousavers again before the tickets prices go up.

Is it 5 plus options or 6 with the 10 day ticket?

Their prices were the best (I bought just before increase) and delivered 4 days later by priority mail. I'd recommend them definitely.

Purchased 2 tix for DS/FDIL (before the price jump this summer) from Undercovertourist via link from mousesavers that gives additonal discounts/specials, etc

Received them in a few days.

Note that they are an authorized re-seller of WDW (in my mind more of a guarantee that the tix will actually be valid when used).

The AP discount is substantial, have you priced out the difference?

Have been buying tickets from Ticketmania for several years and go through the mousesavers newsletter site which saves a little more than the regular ticket mania site. There are 6 plus options on a 10 day premium ticket.

No, the $270 was with tax. I know the shipping is $3 from Disney, but I could always use will call and save that.

I am waiting on the newsletter from Mousesavers to see if the links from there are cheaper. Undercover tourist and ticket mania were the 2 sites that were the same price as Disney, but that was not with the Mousesaver discount.

An AP for Mom would be nice, but she doesn't live with us, so no DVC discount, and she is not going again within the year. This trip has my head spinning, since we are buying her plane ticket and park ticket, but she is paying for her dining plan and her P&P party ticket. So I am trying to figure out how much everything will be and I keep forgetting how many of everything I am paying for. :teeth: If my sister decides to go, I am quitting as trip planner.

The last two times I bought MYW tickets I found the best price was from my DH's employer. He works for one of the many companies that sponsor an attraction at WDW. Quite by accident, my DH discovered a link on the company's internal website about discounted WDW tickets. So if you or your DH or your mom works for a company that sponsors something at WDW, check to see if you can purchase WDW tickets.
