Smoked tomato soup-Boma (no longer offered)
Smoked prime rib - Boma (no longer offered)
Carrot ginger soup - Boma
Smoked duck breast - Citricos. I cannot begin to tell you how good it was!
Guiness reduction at Raglan Road
and (get ready to laugh) CORNDOGS! I'm a hard core foodie but my weakness is CORNDOGS and I swear WDW has the best corndogs!
There were so many great meals over the years, but most of the good restaurants have changed or no longer exist. Some notable memories from those days would be:
King Stefan's Banquet Hall (now Cinferella's Royal Table) had a great prime rib and one of the best hot fudge sundaes.
The Empress Room (now upstairs of Fulton's) was great for just about everything.
The original menu service Biergarten (pre-buffet).
The original Rose & Crown (while still a favorite, it used to be better).
The Pueblo Room on the concourse level of the Contemporary (long gone).
The hot dog truck that used to be parked by the American Adventure in World Showcase had great hot dogs.
Tony's Town Square used to have a nice breakfast.
Liberty Tree Tavern used to have a great menu years ago.
Tangarora Terrace in the Polynesian was really great.
The Yachtsman Steakhouse was great when it first opened and Ariel's (Beach Club - gone) was also great.
Of what is available now, are best meals are:
Shula's is our absolute favorite for steak.
Fulton's is great for seafood and also has a really good steak.
Raglan Road is great for fish and chips or just about anything else on their menu.
Narcoossee's is good, but used to be better.
Rose & Crown is still good, but used to be better.
Crab cake appetizer: Flying Fish
Grey Goose slushy: France
Filet mignon and mashed potatoes: Le Cellier
All-American sandwich: Earl of Sandwich
Zebra domes: Boma
Shrimp tacos: La Hacienda
I'm ashamed to say it after reading everyone's posts but I have NEVER had a Dole Whip, eek! It's number one must try on my upcoming trip though
Any sundae at Ghiradelli's
Shish Kabobs and hummus at Marrakesh
Nachos at la Cantina
mac and cheese, creme brulee at Chefs de France
Everything at Raglan Road (it's my Irish pride)
Mickey ice cream bar (virtually an ice cream bar that you can get anywhere, it just tastes much better in front of Cinderella castle)
MK:
Dole Whip
Crystal Palace - Puffed French Toast (better a long time ago... before the restaurant changed to the buffet... but I still steal it from the kid's buffet and enjoy it!)
Columbia Harbour House - Lighthouse Sandwich
California Grill - Pork Tenderloin w/ Goat Cheese Polenta
Beaches and Cream - No Way Jose and the Chocolate Shake
Epcot:
Restaurant Marrakesh - Beef Brewat Roll
Le Cellier - Chedder Cheese Soup and the Mushroom Filet
Sunshine Seasons - Key Lime Tart
Creme Brulee at WPE
Mickey Bars (I know they're just ice cream and choc coating but they are just special at WDW)
Scallops at Kona were pretty amazing too
The make-your-own-treat from Goofy's Candy Store in DTD - It was the rice krispies treat dipped in white chocolate, rolled in crushed peanuts, then drizzled with dark chocolate. Pure heaven.

The pastries, scones, and the trifle from Grand Floridian club level, zebra domes, dole whip floats, the fried chicken at Hoop de doo, mushroom filet at Le Cellier, Lobster at Narcoossees, breakfast banana pudding they used to have at CP, warm berry cobbler at Artist point, tonga toast. OK enough... You can tell I have a sweet tooth.
Downtown Disney- the sipping chocolate from Giradehlli sp? That is the most amazing thing involving choclate that I have ever tasted. Beyond rich and just pure chocolate heaven.[/QUOTE]
What is this "sipping chocolate" you speak of? I've never even heard it mentioned before and I'm a frequent visitor (to this board and WDW lol). I'm quite intrigued!
