that don't cost hundreds of dollars?? I saw the post on Sunglasses, which got me thinking. I never find a pair that are comfortable, and look good too. Which brand/style do you love? Not looking to spend hundreds here. :cool1:

My FAVORITE pair are a pair of Liz Claiborne tortoise shells...that were free to me! No, really, my co-worker bought them at TJ Maxx for $15 bucks, and passed them on to me because she found a new pair that she liked better.

My other pair are Candie's...purchased at Kohl's for $12. I like them, but not as well as the LC's. I've had both pair for about a year now, and they've held up great. I'm horrible on sunglasses. The Candie's are a little bent in the ear piece area, but the LC's are perfect.

I do not recommend Target for sunglasses. I've purchased 3 pair from there, to have them break in less than a month. I've bought several at Wal Mart, but they tend to stretch out more.

I posted about sunglasses:) i was looking for cheap ones that i wouldnt mind losing on a ride or anything, but my FAVORITE sunglasses are the cheap no name ones I find at Hampton Beach,NH in the little sea side shops, they last for SO LONG ,they always have the styles that are popular and if i loose apair, it was only $5 so im not upset!:)

I really like targets 5.99 sunglasses, and I dont feel to bad if I lose them. They have all the popular looks

My fav. sunglasses I bought for about $10 at MGM in WDW...over 2 yrs. ago. They have held up great and they have a little jeweled Mickey design on the lower part of the lens. If something should happen to them....I'll just get another par this Sept. when we return to Disney!:hippie:

I love my Rayban polarized glasses. They are more than $5 or $10, but really awesome. If you spend much time outdoors or on the water, polarized is the way to go. I was at COSTCO today and they had some Rayban polarized glasses for $89, and some Kirkland polarized glasses for $39.

Are they really comfortable? Where besides Costco would I find a pair reasonable? We're not members at Costco. Any online retailers??

I don't know about online. Kirkland is a Costco brand, so I doubt you would find them, but you could always google it! They are comfortable. There are several styles, and right now I have a metal frame pair. The downside to those is if you push them up on top of your head, and you are out in the sun, they get hot. Next time I will go with a plastic frame pair.

That said, there are lots of places to buy polarized glasses in many different brands.

Take good care of your eyes and buy a pair of good sunglasses. I find amber tinted ones keep colors true and the polarization helps with glare both in the summer and winter(snow). My boys have blue eyes so i buy them good sunglasses. They have Oakley sport styles that they wear when playing sports and at the beach. Since they like them, they wear them. You can look for nice ones at places like TJ maxx and Marshalls. I saw nice Nike sport ones there last fathers day for around $50. I know that isn't cheap, but you only get one pair of eyes.

I had a pair that I bought at Disney with a little Mickey in the corner. I loved them, but sadly I lost them.:sad2: Now, I haven't been able to find any adult glasses with the mickey's on them. I guess Disney decided we don't need them anymore. :confused3

I'm a big fan of the Sunglasses you can get at LL Bean in store-they're around $15, great protection, and 100% guaranteed.

My brother tipped me off to a good place for sunglasses. Wal-Mart......Yes indeed. Go to the "Fishing" section in your local Wally World. They have "polarized" sunglasses which are helpful for the glare off the water. You can get a nice pair for $15-$25.

Good Luck

Pac Sun has nice pairs of sunglasses. I bought a pair of avaitors (sp?) for about $15.

plus, they look good :thumbsup2

I won't spend hundreds on my sunglasses, but I find the cheapo pairs never last with me. I have a pair of Rayban wayfarers (yes, flashback to Risky Business and The Outsiders :rotfl: ). I have polarized lenses and I couldn't do without them. Just bought DD a pair online this winter and they cost me $70.

I got me two pairs of sunglasses from Charlotte Russe at the mall for $5.99 ea :scared1: and the are both Louis V :cloud9: of course knock offs but still really cute

And they block the sun good :rotfl:

When DH and I were on vacation we went to a Del Sol store (they have the stuff that changes color in the sun) Anyways they have good quality sunglasses that have the polaized lenses and they will replace them for $10 shipping if you ever lose, break or just want a different style. They come with a card and you just fill it out and send it to them with $10 and they send you a new pair. I think to buy the first pair is around $50. You can look at them on their website www.delsol.com DH and I have loved ours that we bought.

Every trip to Orlando, I go to flea market on #192 and get polarized sunglasses for $7.00. They are like a wrap around style, although they sell other styles of polarized for the same price. All my friends love them, so I end up buying more each trip. I've never broken a pair. They stand up well, and are very comfortable. Others remark on their comfort as well. It's the flea market across from the Walmart on #192 East.

I am constantly losing sunglasses. So, ever since losing my $300 prescripton Anne Klein sunglasses at Sounds Dangerous at HS a couple of years ago, I spend a few minutes at the Dollar Store to find a decent pair for a buck! I actually really like the pair I have now and they were just a dollar.

I love those big lensed ones and I often find them at Hot Topics for around $10 or Target for under $15. My problem is now my DS5 has perscription glasses and he must have sunglasses. I can't find any at a resonable price:scared1: Any suggestions on where to find them would be greatly appreciated:thanks:
