What's the best stroller to bring aboard ship? Ds3 won't need it much but I would hate to not have it, especially in the airport. Anyone?

Anything compact, we took a baby city jogger. Didn't use it on the ship but was great for excursions with the big sunshade

If you don't currently have one, then don't spring for an expensive one. Find one at consignment or an umbrella. You should not need it on the ship, we didn't for a 14 month old. (Though when we delivered FE gifts we baby wore). We have a B2B planned in Feb and won't be taking it then either.

The only consideration is if you think you might need it in the ports if you plan on doing walking or shopping and if your son would get tired of that quick. Depending on the ports, you might need to consider a stroller with larger wheels that won't catch in cracks or uneven pavement.

I do have one... it's the BabyTrend Expedition, so I'm not sure if it would be too bulky to be lugging around...I'm not particularly concerned about using it actually aboard the ship...more concerned with the airport. Maybe I will check with my friends and see if anyone has a higher end umbrella stroller we could just borrow... The one we have is pretty flimsy...

Every time I have had a stroller at the airport it has come back broken. We've lost 4 strollers. I no longer gate check my stroller and send it through right at the counter. Our DD rides on DH's shoulders, or she straddles the roll aboard and we pull her. In ports, she goes up on his shoulders. She likes the view from being up there. I mean really, who wants to look at a bunch of butts in a crowd? Haha! Now, when we go out to isolated locations, we have used everything from a Teutonia Jogger to a $30 Babies R Us umbrella.
