Hi everyone! My son will be 15 months old when we go to Disney. Only stroller we have now is the heavy stroller/infant seat combo. We'd like to purchase a lighter model that is easier for travel. I worry that a basic umbrella stroller wouldn't be comfy enough to allow him to nap . He is fairly big for his age, 31 pounds and 34 inches tall. We're planning multiple trips to Disney over the next 2 years, so wouldn't mind spending a little extra for better quality and more comfort for him. Any suggestions???

Thanks for your help and suggestions! These boards are the best!!!

Hi,
We have a peg perego, Venezia stroller, that I've used with ours as an infant and toddler at D-land. The back lays down to become a bassinet. This was fine as an infant but as a toddler we should have gone back to the room for nap. He did finally go to sleep in it though. He needs quiet now to nap, nothing wrong with the stroller for that. There is a part that clicks up or down to have his legs dangle or keep them up, helps when laying him down. Not much room in it though for our stuff. I would go to a baby store and look at the different models. This stroller is much more comfy for him than an umbrella stroller would be. I think the peg perego line has various models, maybe one would be better for you than another. The Venezia runs about $180, which we figured we would be using it for quite a few years, so we figured we'd get a lot of use out of it, and so far we have.
