Best Strategy for On-Site at DHS?

We are staying on-site on our Mardi Gras trip at the end of the month and am looking for input in planning our DHS day. There are a couple of scenarios that I am considering since this is the first experience with ILL or Genie+. We plan on taking advantage of early entry and wish to make our morning as efficient as possible. We can be up early as we do not have a park day scheduled the day before.

1. Would you recommend taking the bus, driving our vehicle, or taking Uber/Lyft to the park? I read somewhere that Uber/Lyft will drop you where the buses arrive at DHS. If so, is this the best method to use?

2. Which would be better: A. ILL Rise of the Resistance and rope drop Slinky Dog Dash or

B. Get Genie+ for Slinky Dog Dash and try to rope drop Rise of the Resistance

Any suggestions or answers to any of these questions would be appreciated.

C. ILL Rise, Genie+ Slinky Dog Dash, and rope drop something else (Tower of Terror or Rock n Rollercoaster are good options if you like either of those).

I'm not sure why you would do Uber/Lyft if you have a car. They can't get in any earlier than you can with your own car, and if you get there early, you will be parking very near the front of the lot. If I was staying on site at a non-Skyliner resort, I would either drive or take the bus.

I want to know this answer or my friend staying OFFSITE!
They are going on 2/4 Friday

Offsite is a totally different situation.

For getting to the park, options are to drive (and pay $25 to park, unless AP) or take some ride share and pay for that. I don't think one is better than the other personally.

As for rides, offsite, they will be starting 30 minutes behind the on site guests. So everything is going to already have a line by the time they get in. They also cannot reserve ILL (Rise for example) until park opening time, and for the most part Rise sells out before the park ever opens. Best bet for Rise for an offsite guest is probably going to be to try shortly before park closing.

I thought about that, but spending an extra 30 dollars either way does not quite appeal to me. It still pisses me off that we have to pay for this after buying park tickets.

I read on a forum (or article) that Lyft/Uber were dropping off at the bus drop-off and not through the parking toll booths.
