Best strategy for Christmas week at BRV?

Hi! To celebrate the 50th anniversary of my in-laws, the kids have decided to take the family to Disney on Christmas of 2020. There are 7 adults and 3 kids. My husband and I own DVC at BWV but everyone has their heart set on Wilderness Lodge. We are wanting 3 studios so everyone has a little privacy and to keep total costs down, and we are looking at 12/25 arrival, departing on 12/31. I have a good lead on someone who can transfer enough BRV points to me to rent 3 studios that week, but I’m worried about the odds of effectively booking 3 studios when the 11-month window opens, especially because we will have to call member services since these points will be transferred. I know about walking a reservation, but what is the best strategy for that in this situation? Looking at Dec availability right now at BRV, I wouldn’t even know how to begin. Am I better off renting points and asking the owner to book and walk the reservation for me? Thanks!

You can ask member services to walk it for you as you will be phoning them anyway giving them each day your final dates you want

So I'd accept the transfer of points, call member services soon, try to book 3 studios earlier than I need them, tell Member Services the dates I actually need, and ask them to walk the reservation? They'll do that?

No, you need to call them every day to walk it forward a day or two at a time.

Here is where I see the biggest problem. Asking an owner to walk 3 studios, assuming you find an owner with enough points to do that...sounds like you have at least found one to transfer those points..they have to book each one separately. So does MS,

So, the problem may be getting all 3. You could get one or maybe two, but 3 is a lot I’d they are going within seconds of 8 am. By 9, it may be extremely difficult to even get one,

Say you get the transfer, get only one, what happens then? As said, you’d have to call every few days to get MS to change the dates for you.

I think trying for one by renting, might work, but 3 Tough. The only see if possible is to find 3 different owners, all who would book One for you, but also be willing to walk it,

Best option, IMO, is rent your own BWV, take the money from that, and money for a transfer and book on cash if being there is most important.
