Hi

We usually go to Charlies as my husband likes to go to a good steakhouse while we are at Disney. HOwever, the last time we were disappointed and since having our DD we have noticed it isn't the most child friendly place to visit!

Does anybody know of another good steakhouse that caters a little better for children.

I need to keep him happy so that I can be let loose with his credit card in the Mall at Millenia :rotfl:

Charlies is where we had our worst dinning experience in Orlando. The server was very rude to my daughter. If memory serves they wouldn't serve fries or anything suitable to her. She was three. He was lucky he didn't end up getting thrown in the steak pit..

Outback Steakhouse was lovely, the steak was excellent.

Menu for their Orlando locations..

I am a massive steak lover and, since I'm quite a fussy eater, it's one of the main things I eat (other than chicken) when we're in Orlando.

My favourites in the past couple of trips have been (in no particular order):

Tony Romas
Longhorn Steakhouse
Planet Hollywood (the service and the rest of the food wasn't that great but the steak was delicious)

I also had a really lovely steak at Wild Jacks on I-Drive on ur first trip in 2004 but I have read really bad things about the place since then - under new management and has really gone downhill apparently.

I love the steak at the Cheesecake Factory at Mall at Millenia, not the first place you'd think of but great.

Thanks for the recommendation Julie - I've had a look at their menu and I think we're planning to include it on our list for August now :thumbsup2

It's also got the seal of approval from 'Wayneg' too. I think he posted some pictures from there on his last live trip report.

I would call forward if you can - there can be a long wait. Sometimes you can get seats at the bar or on the verandah if you don't want to wait for a table.

The two for one Margarita cocktails are good at happy hour!

Maybe random but cheap steak we had was at dennys, a couple of years back really was lovely for not a steakhouse.

Outback Steakhouse is our favourite! :thumbsup2

However, I'm determined to eat as much cow as I can for the next two weeks we're there, as I would be more than happy to discover one I like better! :goodvibes

Where is my thanks?? Am I not worthy of a thanks?

Kidding by the way. Enjoy your steak related fun.

Sorry, Kevin, I didn't see where you recommend Manny's :confused3 We have already eaten at Outback - I used to love their pork chops but they're no longer on the menu :sad2:
