Best Steak on Property?

Disneyfamily123:

The steak at FF is good. But they just have that one and it's done "Pittsburgh" style--charred on the outside. I imagine they'd cook it differently on request, but then it wouldn't be their "signature" dish.

I imagine as a NY Strip it's as good (or better) as the one at YSH, but if you are interested in any other cut, FF won't have it.

Shula's. The NYS at FF was good but the sauce foyot ruined it.

I'm not much of a steak lover, but my hubby is. He said Le Cellier is the best he's ever had.

Please report back! How good is the steak at Flying Fish... thinking about having steak there instead of Yachtsman. Comparison?

IMHO, it was great, as it always is. :thumbsup2
I usually only only eat filets, but the NY Strip at FF is, to me, the best steak that I have had at WDW. It is definately better than the filets that I have had at the Yachtsman. (As a PP stated, the NY Strip is the only kind of steak served at FF.)
Again, I have not tried Shulas yet.

IMO, the sauce foyet makes the steak ... Without it it's just a mediocre choice cut NY Strip, which would be better at Shula's.

I used to think the filet at Le Cellier was the best I had ever had. I had the filet at the Yachtsman and it was to die for...the best I have ever eaten! Looks like I will have to try Shula's sometime soon.

Sounds like Shula's is a must do on our next trip.

Personally, I love the NY strip at Yachtsman and my husband prefers the porterhouse. On a side note, I was very pleasantly surprised by the ribeye at the Grand Floridian Cafe.
