Best Steak on Property?

I still love the Filet at Le Cellier, I think the Truffle Butter makes that great. Not sure how to recreate it.

Shula's by a long shot.
You can get a GOOD steak at a # of other restaurants, but the selection is very limited.
Shula's has GREAT steak and a large choice of cuts.

Usually Le Cellier, but we replaced it this year with Shula's. I'm hoping to have a new favorite :)

I've never eaten at Shulas (hope to in Nov), but the best steak we've gotten at WDW has been at the Flying Fish. It has always been better than any steak we've gotten at the Yachtsman, California Grill, Artist Point, Le Cellier, Turf Club, Jikos, Citricos, Narcoosee, or anywhere else on Disney property.

Same here. We have not eaten at Shulas yet, but we hope to in September.
I'm going to Flying Fish in the next hour for their New York Strip! I love it!:thumbsup2

Le Cellier's mushroom filet mignon is my favorite, mainly because the truffle butter and risotto are unique. A close second place is the Yachtsman filet with mashed potatoes and red wine sauce.

For me, the worst steak is at Coral Reef.

Never been to Shula's.

Shula's has excellent steaks, but we're lucky enough to have one in our current city and back home. So we don't bother with it at Disney. We're on the DxDP in Sept. though, so we'll likely try some steaks other places now . . . .

Love Le Cellier, California Grill, used to love Teppan Edo in Japan but it has gone down hill, Coral Reef, Kona!!
:banana::banana:

I'm actually voting for Coral Reef too, my hubby said it was one of the best steak's he's ever had, and he eats LOTS of steak! We're trying Le Cellier in November this year, but also going back to CR!

The imported Japanese Wagyu Beef filet which is an $80 add-on at Victoria and Albert's. This is absolutely in a class by itself.

We are trying Shula's for the first time this September. We are looking forward to going and so glad Bluezoo and Shula's takes TIW this year.

So far the best steak I have had was September 2010 at Bistro de Paris.

Grilled Beef Tenderloin, beef Parmentier, asparagus, pepercorn sauce.

My comment at the time to my wife was that all I had to do was lay my knife on the steak and it cut itself. Here is a picture.

BTW no comparison to the filet at Chef's. This was much larger and a better cut beef.

We've only tried 4 steaks on property: Cal Grill, Olivia's at OKW, Coral Reef, and Tony's. DH liked Cal Grill's the best but I preferred Olivia's.

Same here. We have not eaten at Shulas yet, but we hope to in September.
I'm going to Flying Fish in the next hour for their New York Strip! I love it!:thumbsup2

Please report back! How good is the steak at Flying Fish... thinking about having steak there instead of Yachtsman. Comparison?
