Best Steak In Disney?

I had 2 steaks in our 10 days there, not including character meals.

First was at LeCellier, it was excellent. Butchers cut steak, a blend of NY strip flavor and Filet Mignon texture. Delicious!

The second was at Narcoosees at GF. Filet was excellent. Served with a mushroom-wine sauce. Yummy.

I have to add that I also ordered lobster tail with both of these and the lobster was much better at LeCellier. Nothing wrong with the one at Narcoosees, but LeCellier's was outstanding.

A vote here for California Grill's tamarind BBQ beef filet. Always perfectly cooked. You can literally cut it with a fork. Yachtsman is also very good.

I'll have to put my vote in for Yachtsman. The steak was excellent and the sauteed mushrooms were great!! Shula's wasn't down there at the time, so we didn't try them, but maybe we will this time.

Le Cellier. Very surprised at how great it is. Esp with the other non-steak entries & appertizers. Haven't been to Yachtman so I can't really compare the 2.

Their mushroom filet, which I had there last week, was the best steak I've ever had.

Lisa:tongue:

I want to try all of these places......all sound totally yummy.

But of all of the steaks I HAVE tried at WDW, Le Cellier comes first. Just reading your comments about Le Cellier brings my taste bud memories back to the mushroom fillet. Oh....I am drooling on myself now.....please, stop, stop. I can't take it!!!!!:tongue: :p

DH & I have had steak at Yachtsman's...LeCellier & Shula's. We both picked Shula's as the best place for steak out of those 3. We hope to be going to Shula's on our next trip in Dec. & my DH will have the 48 oz. steak this time. It's one of the few places I have ever gone & not brought home a "doggy bag." LeCellier, was Awesome! We had lunch there & highly recommend it. You can't beat the steak or the price, especially at lunch time. Yachtsman was good, I just feel the other 2 were better. I too, am a steak lover...have tried Morton's in Vegas which I loved & also have had Peter Luger's. If price is a consideration, I would say LeCellier, but if you can afford it...try Shula's. Mmmm, my mouth is watering already. Let us know what you decide & what you thought once you've tried your pick! Kathy ;)

I am a very picky Steak eater who always looks for the best steak places when I go somewhere.

I don't consider the Yachtsman Steakhouse to be a top steakhouse. I mean I will not trash the place, but it really does not compare to the better Steak Houses I have been too. I mean it compares favorably to chain steakhouses like Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse. Meaning its much better than those...but places lke Ruth Chris are a better IMO and we have local Steak Houses in my hometown that are quite a bit better than Ruth Chris.

Shula's would be the only one on Disney property in which I have eaten that is in the upper echelon of Steak Houses. I have not dined at the Disney one though...but one of its Miami brethren.

I need to try LeCellier, it always has good reports except for its atmosphere. Good food is good food though.

although i have only eaten the 48 oz porterhouse at Shulas on both of my trips there, and have eaten steak at other disney restaurants, i find shulas to serve the best steak on disney property;
