Best steak house in WDW

#1 is probably Shula's, maybe it's even tied for it, if you consider the Yachtsman.

Those 2, hands down, are the best 'steakhouses' at WDW.

There are lots of good places to get steak at WDW. I'd rate YSH as number one. But I'd also give serious consideration to Artist Point (they offer a Buffalo steak that's great, but they also have a really good beef tenderloin) and Jiko.

I've read there isn't enough prime beef produced to supply all the restaurants that claim to be serving prime beef.

Shula's beef isn't USDA rated prime but it's high quality. I'll agree with a previous poster, Shula's is in the same category as The Palm, Morton etc.

Le Cellier is great, an enjoyable theme park dining experience. The steak is similar to Outback quality.

Thanks for the link! :)

Interesting. It doesn't say whether the restaurant uses prime cuts or choice cuts. The best steak houses around here serve prime, and that's what I prefer, myself, but choice cuts are the next best thing. But some places serve choice cuts of beef at prime prices, and I didn't know if that was the case with Shula's, or not.

Shula's has, in the past, been voted "best in Orlando" but this year that distinction went to Del Frisco's...

Shula's has been voted the best steak house in ALL of Orlando.

I am not sure why the debate about if it is the best in WDW is even taking place.

Actually, I've heard others say that Charley's Steakhouse in Orlando is tops. I wouldn't know, however, as I've never eaten at either. If the steaks at Shula's, Charley's, or Yachtsman compared to the steaks served at a Jeff Ruby restaurant (http://www.jeffruby.com/index.php), then they'd be pretty delicious steaks, indeed! :thumbsup2

Another good steak place is Texas de Brazil. Very interesting place.

No Shulas is not on DDP.

You may think I'm Crazy but... try the Pepper Market at CSR. The prime rib is hands down the best I've had at WDW. For $18.95 you get a good size prime rib, baked potato & veggies. Throw in an ice cold beer and I'm there!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

It serves Angus Beef which I always thought was it's own category and above prime. Am I mistaken?

My favorite Filet is at the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht club. They still hand cut their steaks daily and prepare all of their food fresh daily.

Have a great time whereever you decide!!

Are you saying that you have had the filet at the Yatchman and at Shula's and perferred Yatchman's best?

Haven't been to Shula's....we had this same dilemma when we went last...we did Yachtsman's and Le Cellier, while Yachtsman's did require 2 credits on our dining plan it was WORTH IT!!! The service was impeccable...we went with our 3 children and some nicer restaurants can snub their noses at children...they made our children feel so important and the food was melt in your mouth good....my husband said it was probably the best lobster he's ever had as well....

We liked Le Cellier, but LOVED Yachtsman's....
we opted not to do Shula's because we heard they weren't so keen on children there...we wanted good steak but not at the expense of our children feeling any less of a consumer....we received sooo many compliments on how well behaved our children were...they love to eat at nice places more than Dad and me...they are incredibly polite and thankful when treated with respect....too bad some restaurants ignore the children's requests...my son had steak and lobster and was so complimentary...the servers got a kick out of his genuineness! :)

You can get a good quality steak at pretty much any Disney signature restaurant...the one's we liked the best were the filet at Jiko's, the strip at Flying Fish and the buffalo at Artist Point...hey it's just steak!
