Best steak house in WDW

We have not been to Shula's but just made my ADR on Tuesday for the day we are arriving hoping to get a great start to our vacation. We are leaving our DD7 at Camp Dolphin and we are going to Shula's. And the great part is I can bring Camp Dolphin our receipt and she is free for the 1st 2 hours. Not bad for some alone time. Can't wait.

What is your budget?

Shulas and Yachtsman are good choices if you can afford them.

Le Cellier is the probably the best choice (perhaps with the Concourse Steak House gone the only choice) for a moderate priced steak house on property.

Other restaurants (Flying Fish, Jiko, et al) have a single steak on their menu that is often very good - but are not steakhouses. Flying Fish is pretty much a seafood resturant.

I've never been to Shula's, but I have been to Morton's and Ruth Chris. For the best steak in Orlando I'd recommend Charlie's Steakhouse on International Dr. Cooked on an open fire grill with hardwood , expensive and amazing.

I may be wrong here, but I believe Angus beef is from only Angus cattle. There are several different breeds of cattle, just like dogs or horses.

Oh, you're right, of course, Angus beef is from Angus cattle. I was trying to say that Certified Angus Beef is an actual brand name, and that Prime and choice cuts of beef mostly have to do with how much fat content, or marbling, there is in the particular cut. I should have been more clear. :)

there was a recent review of flying fish (anyone know if it was in the allears.net or mousesaver newsletter? ) that rated the steak there superior to any other in WDW (including Yachtman's).
personally, i have not eaten at shula's, but their steak does consistantly receive extremelly favorable reviews, more so than other restaurant (btw, we have had the steak at le cellier more than once, & found it good, but not noteworthy).
hth:)

I have been to Ruth Chris and their steak is amazing.

The Yachtsman is hands down better steak than LeCellier. I do love the cheese soup at LeCellier, and think the steak is on par with The Outback, so we do go there, but it wasn't the best by far.
