Me and my family LOVE steak!! We want to know which one is the best. I know there is a lot but we just want an idea for when we go this year.

EPCOT's Le Cellier is one of the top. My father went with us a year and a half ago and said it was the best steak he's ever had! He, too, is a steak lover.

Can't beat Shula's! It was incredible! Not only was the steak amazing, but the salad was the best I've ever had!

SHULA'S STEAK HOUSE

Critic's Choice for Orlando's Best High-End Steak House
Seven-time winner of Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence

Keep in mind that award is not for the Best steak in WDW, the award is for the best steak in ALL of Orlando.

We just got back from WDW yesterday and I wanted to tell you about our 2 steak experiences. We had dinner at Coral Reef on Thurs. and I ordered the steak. It was a terrible piece of meat. It had good taste and for what meat there was wasn't actually tough. But here's the kicker....It had a LOT of grissle and junk in it. I was seriously disappointed in it and will not go back there again. I've gotten better cuts of meat at Golden Corral. The service is really not up to par for a Disney Dining Experience since we got our utensils for crab legs and steak about 5 minutes after we got our food (which incidentally was quite rushed). Additionally we only saw our actual server about 4 times. We felt like we were part of an assembly line. Get em sat...get em fed...get em gone!! I seriously doubt I would ever go back again.

On the other hand..on Fri. night we had ADR for California Grill. A truly wonderful experience. I really felt like I was "dining" not just eating. The steak that my adult DD and DGD had were just awesome!! Even the Kids Selection steak that my 9yr old DGD had was about 20 steps above what was offered at CR. I had the veal medallions and it was to die for. It acutally cut itself. I don't even want to go into the dessert we had....I just want it again!!! (Psst..think strawberries). To top it all off...our server..Jose was fantasically attentive, had his timing perfect, and was very personable.
A truly "magical" pixiedust: experience in every way!

LeCellier filet (the BBQ, I got it on the side) was Wonderful, as was the filet at Kona!

Shula's for a great plain cut of meat (and service). California Grill or Jiko for a great seasoned or sauced filet.

For a real steak house go to Shula's. There are great steaks available at other restaurants but not the variety or quality of Shula's.

The best Steakhouse on WDW property is Shula's hands down. When you can order a filet well down and it melts in your mouth you are at an amazing steakhouse.

For the steak itself, Id give Shulas a slight edge, but for overall experience and food (sides, appetizers, etc...) Yachtsman Steakhouse wins out.

Hi,

Shula's only serves Angus Beef. Here is the link for more information. The service and atmosphare is outstanding as well as the food.

Thanks for the link! :)

Interesting. It doesn't say whether the restaurant uses prime cuts or choice cuts. The best steak houses around here serve prime, and that's what I prefer, myself, but choice cuts are the next best thing. But some places serve choice cuts of beef at prime prices, and I didn't know if that was the case with Shula's, or not.

My favorite Filet is at the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht club. They still hand cut their steaks daily and prepare all of their food fresh daily.

Have a great time whereever you decide!!

Shula's serves the Shula Cut " better than prime". Their beef is grown on their own ranch and are promised to exceed prime in "most" catagories" ... Which means of course there is a catagory or two in which they are below prime. Confusing? I know it is to me and I'm not sure I have it completely right yet...But Shula's steak more closely compare to Ruths' Chris, The Palm, Mortons, etc than Le Cellier (which many say isn't even up to Outback quality) or Yachstmans, which serves choice (at Prime prices)...

Shula's has been voted the best steak house in ALL of Orlando.

I am not sure why the debate about if it is the best in WDW is even taking place.
