Best steak dinner off property??

What are some good places OFF property to eat a steak dinner? I know there is some steakhouse very close by that is rated in the top 10 nationwide, but I can't recall the name of it. Anybody been to it?

I understand Shula's at the Dolphin/Swan is very good. Never been there though. I wonder if this is the restaurant you are thinking of?

It depends on what rating system you are referring to. However there is a place called "Charlie's Steak and Seafood" I think (I'm sure about the "Charlie's part"). It is located right across from the entrance to Celebration. We have been there and plan on going again. This was one of the best if not the best steak dinners we ever had. It is also rated as one of the top ten steak houses in the country in many rating systems.

For a non-park steak I highly recommend Shulas - we were very impressed with our meal there. The food and service were both perfect. I understand there are Ruth Chris Steakhouses around, but I'm not a huge fan of their stuff, it is just not my style.

I've been to Shula's. It was OK, but I didn't really care for the atmosphere (or the price).

I want to try someplace new this trip.

Shula's is on property. But Morton's is not to far away from WDW and very good.

Just out of curiosity, what are the prices like at Charlies? I don't mind paying for a good meal but I always like knowing how much a place charges before I go. It eliminates any surprises for me or my wife.

Also, is Charlies ala carte style?
