I love the filet!!! Our DS (very picky eater) loves the mac and cheese and it's a very good size portion. It has a light crunch on the top, but is a rich, creamy mac and cheese underneath.
Frankly I love the Prime Rib there. It is so tender you can cut it with a fork and is very tasty. Not overly spiced with anything, just a hint of salt.
Also my DH loves the strip there. He said is was very good. I tasted it, but mine was better. LOL
For me it's got to be the Mushroom Filet Mignon every time - I have tried most of the other dishes on the menu, but this is equal to anything, anywhere in Disney (including the California Grill)
Don't take my word for it - try it and see for yourself!
Mushroom Filet Mignon. I have never liked risotto, but i decided to try it anyway....this dish changed my mind. It was so good..i told my DH if i could lick my plate, I would have
My DH and I both vote for the Fillet with Mushroom Risotto ...my mouth is watering just thinking about it. This is the only thing we have tried, and are afraid to try anything else because we love it so much . My kids haven't tried the mac and cheese yet, one DD loves to have the cheese pizza there and the other DD loves to get the kids seared steak.
I was disappointed in the filet. To be honest, it's the truffle butter that really makes it at all interesting. Having had filets at other restaurants recently (Salt Rock Grill in Tampa, and a local restaurant), I have become more and more convinced that the filet at Le Cellier isn't really that good.
I was much happier with the coffee rubbed Kansas City strip.
But please note that the menu changes in March.
Also, I have no opinion on the mac and cheese. Never ate it, and neither have my children.
I agree with that statement on the ribeye! I haven't been able to get an ADR at the restaurant and can't say anything about their sirloin. As a beef producer, sirloin is what you put in fajitas; not by itself on a plate. Still trying to book a meal at this elusive restaurant. Must start 180 days in advance, I think.

While the steaks are good at Le Cellier, we've also had great steaks at many of the Disney non-signature restaurants. We're trying our Yachtsman's Steakhouse in September
