We'll be in Disneyland over Easter break and I know the hotels are pretty full but do we stand a chance of getting a requested room? Has anyone had a good standard view room at GC? Does it cost more to have a pool view? Thanks for the help... Marilyn:D

It does cost more to have a pool or theme park view. I believe the standard room looks out over the courtyard. There is also a DD view, but don't know if that is more or not. We have had a DD and themepark view. We loved them both. It is a great hotel and we can't wait for our next visit in May.

The standard view rooms look out over the front of the hotel grounds, the parkinglots, Disneyland drive with Paradise Pier Hotel and Disneyland hotel in the back ground. There are also a few standard (at least they use to be standard. This may or maynot have changed) rooms that overlook the Monorail courtyard which is a landscaped courtyard next to Downtown Disney. As indicated the Monorail glides through this courtyard and a few of the rooms here have a bit of a view of Downtown Disney.
