Hello! Based on a discount offer I received, we just switched our reservation from a moderate resort to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for virtually the exact same price! We booked a standard view room for me, my husband, my eight-year-old daughter and my son who will turn five while we are there. I am looking for suggestions of any specific rooms or areas to request to give us the best room possible at that level. My kids go to bed super early, so a quiet room is a priority. Any feedback would be really appreciated! Also would love any insider tips about fun things to do at the resort while we are there (April 5-10). Thank you!!!!!

If a quiet room is a priority, you should request a quiet room. There isn't any "best" room, since everyone has different needs/opinions. Just request the features you seek.

We stayed there a little over a year ago in a standard room. We did an early morning check in and I asked if it were possible to have a standard room that did not look out over the parking lot. We were given room 4486 off of the zebra trail side. It was perfect! Our balcony overlooked one of the hot tubs and we had a partial view of the Uzima Savannah. If we leaned out over our balcony to the right a bit we could see the pool. The room was very quiet at the end of a hallway. We were the last room on that end and used the external stairway to get to the pool and The Mara. I would think that room on any floor would be similar. (1486, 2486, 3486, 5486)
