Hello all!

Whanted your input on where to request @ Pop? Our party, Me 42, DM 64 and DS 12. I want to make this a very special trip for Mom and DS, so let me have your best Pop tips!
Thanks!:yay:

I have stayed in the 50's and the 60's in standard rooms, both were a short walk from the food court and bus stop. I liked the 60's better because we had a lake view and were closer to the main pool. On my next trip I am requesting the 60's lake view again because it was very peaceful, but a quick walk put me in the middle of everything the resort offered.

We've stayed at Pop two times. First time was in February of 2007 and we did not make a request. We were assigned the 50's and liked it a lot. When we went back last month, we requested the 50's and our request was honored. We were in the buildings behind the jukebox; I can't recall the numbers. It was a 3 minute walk to Classic Hall (if we sauntered, which we don't do often!).

We liked the 50's location a lot. I would definitely NOT pay for a preferred room as it really only gets you closer to Classic Hall.

Enjoy your time there.

the play-dough section. Our room was the corner room (ask for one room over so you don't hear halway noise--but still not bad). We LOVED this location---Lake view and quiet, but right near elevator (by play-dough can) and when you get off elevator, you are at the hippy-dippy pool (far side of check-in bldg). You are very close to the little water-spray area and very close to the dining hall---it was a PERFECT location.

We stayed in the 70's section, bldg 6, 2nd floor. It was a great area and have requested the same area for our trip next February. We didn't book preferred. At check in we were asked where we would like to be located. I asked that it wasn't too far out from everything. Outside our room was the fooseball men/table. We had what we thought a very short walk to classic hall and the buses. Have fun on your upcoming trip!

Lynn
