Best spot for parade

We're going to DL to see my cousins dd7 (my cousin too) dance in the parade with her school (they're coming from TX).

Not sure if she's on one side or moving around a lot, but where is the best spot for videos/pictures? This is a one time shot and I'm sure her mom is going to be a wreck and we figured the more people taking pictures the better.

I've read about priority seating, but is this for the daytime parade and is it just a good view from a balcony or a really good seats at a bench?

Any advice?

My favorite spot is when you walk down mainstreet, hang a right to go towards the Matterhorn bobsleds and directly to your left there will be benches right infront of a path that leads to the astro orbiters in Tomorrowland. sit there, theres not too many crowds around that area and the floats are pretty much there just for you. I actually believe the bench backs up to the Alice in Wonderland ride if I am not mistaken.

mystic path, is that the "path" that goes by the snow white & dwarfs statues? or further on towards Alice & the Matterhorn?

I know that as you get close to Alice there are bathrooms on the left. This sounds like a good place to view the parade (& we're gonna be there next week) & would like to pinpoint your "favorite spot".

Thanks so much. The last time dh and I were in DL was around 96 so tons of changes and less brain cells with memory.
