Best spot for christmas parade and fantillusion

HI, I need some advice on where is the best spot to be to watch the christmas parade and fantillusion. I have seen both of them last dec and remember that the christmas parade started from Fantasyland and finished near to the main rail station whereas the fantillusion is the other way round.
Will it still be the same for this year?? I know the best place to stand (especially for the fantillusion) is at the central plaza but I am wondering where exactly in central plaza should i be standing? SHould I be near to the castle entrance side or the mainstreet side so that I can get some nice pics showing the floats and the castle?

I think all parades take the same route, so will be the same this year.

As for best spot, there's a topic on here somewhere about it, and some of us (including me) think that if you can get to those turret/gate things by the entrance to Fantasyland when coming from Discoveryland in time, then thats about as good as it gets
