What are some of the best goodies you are finding at the parks/DTD these days? We are leaving in two weeks....

I still love the monorail refrigerator magnet we picked up last year becasue someone had mentioned it on the boards...

thanks!

I got a Mouse ear shaped keys chain that has little inserts that is like a mini -veiwfinder. There are about 25 pictures from the various parks. Everyone who sees it ends up looking at all the pictures. Even my co-workers who tease me that we go to Disney sooften still end up looking at it everytime I leave it on my desk!! :goodvibes

CD's of the park music are my favorite souvenirs. However, we drink out of our resort mugs every day so they are by far our most useful souvenirs. We have about 10 or 12 of them, and we don't even have kids :teeth:. The mugs keep our drinks cold, remind us of being at WDW, and the lids keep our kitties out :cat: :cat:.

I've been twice and I'll tell ya next time I am picking up a monerail magnet, CD's of the Park music and one of those Mickey ear viewfinder things! Why didn't I get them last year, they all sound so cool! My favorites that I bought are the picture box frame with Mickey and Minney sitting on a couch in perhaps her living room with a picture of me and my DBF outside their window! Also my assorted small plush figures and the red Mickey enamel travel mug that is so cool looking. Next time if it is still on offer I am getting the Stitch automatronic toy, if I don't buy it from mail order first that is :)

I love my Hollywood Tower hotel slippers! this year I think i'm going to splurge on the robe. It's something I use every day and makes me smile every time.

And my pins of course, I collect pins I'm going to wear. Some times I'll have a Rafiki day, others a Clarabella Cow. sometimes I'm Grumpy or Dopey...

Oh, and my Chip & Dale watch. I never used to wear a watch but this one is very small and I love it!!

I picked up one of the Fantasia lighted keyrings in Epcot(Germany). It's one of those picture cubes, but one I could afford. I hang it in my car, as they are very fragile(broke two already and re-ordered through manufacturer).

I think all of the jewelry in the World of Disney store is beautiful, and actually very nice quality. (Not mall Disney store low-end kind of stuff). A lot of the watches are Citizen and I remember thinking that the mickey ears rings are a high quality metal but I don't remember what.

I love refillable mugs from the water parks. For some reason, I don't care about ones from the other parks, just the water parks.

I also use my mugs from the water parks all the time! They are great and I also nicknamed them my 'super cups' lol I also love all my soft toys that I buy every year we will have to move soon there's not much room left lol! :rotfl2:

I decided I'm worth it, so my new souvenier is a themed watch, in the $30 range. so far, I have a Pooh watch with a denim band, and a white watch where the second hand is a dial of Mickey heads. Under the heads is a gold leaf so they show up nicely. It is quite the conversation piece, everyone admires it.

My favorite goodies:

- Jewelry (Mickey watch; Mickey icon necklace; Mickey icon earrings)

- Resort and Park Mugs

- WDW Scrapbook and Small Picture Album for each year

- Daily planner with Mickey icon on front

- WDW golf shirts, t-shirts and socks

- More toys and pillows for my fur babies

- Disney pens (from resort, ones with characters on them, ones that say "WDW or Disney)

:Pinkbounc :cheer2:

I really want to get a Stitch mug when I go this year I have loads of tinkerbell ones but no stitch :sad2: So when I get that then I will have a new favourite souvenir! :teeth:

My favorite souveniers:

1. POR and Blizzard Beach mugs. I use 'em every day.

2. PoC keychain. Also used everyday :goodvibes

3. magnets--we collect them

Everything I bought is pretty inexpensive, but they are useful and put a little Disney Magic into my day.

Dd is extremely attached to her plush Figment. :figment:

Warning:

Purchasing Disney pins from parks, rides, etc...can get spendy and addicting!
However, the pins are my favorite souveneer from my prior trip.
(Will be there in 9 days and I am excited to add more to my collection)
cha-ching!!!

We got refrigerator magnets you could put your picture in each year we went. I like the ones with the year on it, to help me keep track! We went 3 years in a row & then started having kids, so took a break. Now we are taking DS4 & DD2 in August for their first trip. They love looking at the photos on the fridge, naming the characters, & parks. The last time we were there I was pregnant with DS & we point out my belly in the picture & tell him that was his first trip to WDW. He gets a kick out of it. I'm anxious to get a 2006 one with all four of us in it!!

I have a fridge magnet from all the parks I go to (inc universal etc) I love them and plan on getting some cute character ones this year!

I have an Italian Charm Bracelet. My charms are Zoppini and the Disney ones are a different brand. Regardless, I love having Mickey mixed in with all of my other favorite things. The charms come in two different types. One is pretty inexpensive and the others are a bit more ($25-$30 / charm). I wear my bracelet often so I need the more durable. Can't wait to get another one this year.

Second favortie souvenier turned out to be my Tink pad of paper with a magnet on the back. The kind you put on the fridge for your store list or short notes. Kind of weird to like having a Tink shopping list or note to the school, but I'll take enjoyment where I can get it. :teeth: I think it was about $6.

I am still using a WDW keychain I purchased in 1995. Refrigerator magnets are also still in use.
